Car dealership group Vertu has added South West Honda franchisee Rowes Garages to its expanding motor industry portfolio, making them Honda’s largest auto retail partner in the UK with 17 outlets across the UK.
Vertu had already strengthened their presence in the South West with their 2022 integration of Ferrari and Volvo dealership Helston Garages, and their 28 sites across Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall. The acquisition of long-standing and successful Rowes Garages increases Vertu’s presence in the South West to 34 outlets, including their first site in Plymouth, Devon.
The Rowes acquisition reflects Vertu’s long-term strategy to “build scale, geographic coverage and deepen our relationships with our key automotive manufacturers”, according to Vertu chief executive Robert Forrester. With yet another successful acquisition completed for the rapidly expanding Vertu, it seems the future is looking bright for this ambitious group!
